14.01.2022 So last night a lady posted on a local Facebook page for the suburb I live in...it was asking if people could get their children to go and write on her mothers driveway or footpath because it was her 80th birthday and she needed to make it special! And due to this virus she was unable to make the drive up here from Brisbane the post was up for less than a minute and without a thought I messaged straight away asking if she liked cake (what person doesn’t) and what was her favo...urite colour, so after working all day today the kids and I cake home baked these beauty’s, decorated them and headed over to give this lovely 80 year old a little gift, it also gave my children a lesson in something I like to call an ARK (acts of random kindness) the children loved it, this beautiful lady named Mavis loved them and cried because she was so overwhelmed by the support our local community has provided in times like this!
