23.01.2022 up for adoption These two super cute bonded pair have been in foster care with my wonderful friend Alison and are now ready to find their forever home The boy is a friendly love bun and the girl is a little shy but both equal parts adorable.... We’re looking for a loving home where they can be inside buns and part of the family with someone who will be patient with them while they settle in and learn to trust you. 20.01.2022 Then along came this little baby welcome home cutie. Lil Lily is hearing impaired and had her first training lesson today. She gets on so well with all the residents and is a perfect friend for our beautiful Lenny

20.01.2022 release day Yesterday we released our beautiful big teenagers, Elle, Bre Kelsey, Rina Alli, Luke, Ludi & Peggy. They’ve been ready to go for a few weeks now, but I’ve been waiting for the right weather. Which is one of the many things come into play on release weekend. ... I’m so happy for them they’ve all come such a long way, since being orphaned by motor vehicle accidents...surviving that alone is amazing. Then last summer we were so close to the fires which was unbelievable stressful, knowing it was up to me to keep them all safe. And now they’ve all grown into beautiful big teenagers and are back where they belong, in the wild the release itself took a few hours with a lot of in & out and Elle slept through most of it like the little sleeping beauty she is. Then once they felt comfortable there was a lot of zoomies and eating grass. this is what it’s all about, getting them ready to go home to the bush

12.01.2022 #tbt 2017 to Bebe under the prettiest sky As you can see from the paddock, the drought had started, little did I know how hard the next 3 years were going to be. I’m hoping this spring some grass will finally grow

09.01.2022 Lenny & Lucky these two were my squad for over 10 years, it’s been over 6 months since Lucky crossed the rainbow bridge. This is the last video I took of the 3 of us. Losing Lucky really hurt. At first I wasn’t going to get another dog. I’d decided that Lenny would be it. Recently a friend told me about a little girl who’s first home fell through and now after finding out more info about her - she’s perfect for Lenny and the sanctuary. ... Get ready for a lot of dog posts soon everyone

08.01.2022 Boris This sweetheart has been through a lot. His original owners left his primarily outdoors, undesexed and unvaccinated. He was found by a lady and taken straight to a vet because he was in poor condition with cat fight wounds. He was microchipped so the owners were informed but they "didn't notice anything " the lady who found him said she was happy to keep him and they agreed to that. ... Due to the amount of cat fights poor Boris has had, he has contracted FIV. The lady who found him has been doing her best with him but her other cats won't accept him and he's not a fan of the other cats. She has desexed and vaccinated him but it’s not a good situation with all the tension from her cats or from Boris. Please share his story Boris will need to be an indoor cat, and preferably an only cat. I personally have 2 FIV+ cats and I just adore them. FIV is really nothing to be scared of, you just have to keep them indoors and keep a close eye on any signs of illness, as their immune system is weaker than normal. I’m a huge advocate for giving FIV kitties a chance If you would like to know more about the beautiful Boris, please message us, and I’ll pass it on to the lady who who we’re trying to help who has him

05.01.2022 Huge thank you ABC Life for spending some time at the sanctuary and doing a story about us As you can see from the images we’re very much still in drought, but we’re getting there **update** Thank you so much everyone I’ve gotten a few messages about electricity and I just thought I’d mention that the wonderful Animal Rescue Cooperative came to the rescue earlier this year and supplied us with solar power....which was literally life changing
