Breast cancer has touched the lives of our family and I feel it's really important to share this important message Statistics: 1 in 7 women are diagnosed with breast cancer. 1 in 670 men are diagnosed with breast cancer.... In Australia this year 19,998 woman have been diagnosed with BC and 170 men. That’s 55 diagnoses a day! Start checking from the age of 16, regularly. Check for lumps, changes in the skin and the nipples. If you notice any changes visit your doctor ASAP. I will be organising a fund raiser yoga class this month, stay tuned for the details. 24.01.2022 SHOULDER STRETCHES Save these easy stretches if you Have tight, sore shoulders Work at a desk all day Want to improve your posture Need a midday break Stretch 1 - Clasped hands. ... Interlace you're hands behind your back, roll and squeeze shoulders back and take your gaze up towards the ceiling. Stretch 2 - Seated cat cows. Inhale to press your chest forward, shoulders squire back and gaze up. Exhale to round your back and shoulders and drop your chin down towards your chest. Stretch 3 - Eagle arms. Wrap one arm underneath the other and then wrap your hands so your palms are touching. Take your gaze up if it feels ok on the neck and then switch sides. Stretch 4 - Thread the needle. From a table top position bring your arm up towards the ceiling and then sweep it in front of your opposite wrist placing your ear and shoulder down to the ground. Brining the other arm behind your back is optional. Then switch sides. Exercise 5 - Puppy pose. From table top walk your hands forward dropping your chin and chest down towards the group for a deep shoulder and back stretch. Keep your hips in line with your knees. 09.01.2022 Darren and I are on our last little getaway before the big move into our new home and before we start the work year. My goal for this year is to have more of a schedule so I always have time to do the things that are important to me - yoga/exercise, family time, day trips etc To be honest this has been a goal of mine for so long but I have completely sucked at sticking to it and always find myself having no time to exercise or to hang out with my favourite peopl...e. So I'm gonna try again. I'm going to take some time over the next few days to write down what my ideal year will look like and make a commitment to myself to be more disciplined, to practice what I preach, to start saying no more often if I'm unavailable and to prioritise what I value most. 07.01.2022 What did you guys learn in 2020? I know that there were a lot of cons, but what were some pros that happened for you? For me 2020 was definitely a tough year for many reasons, but there was definitely a lot of growth in my personal life and in my business. 2020 forced me out of my comfort zone, it forced me to adapt to change. It got me in front of a camera (which you never would have seen a year ago). I'm a little more tech savvy and I started an online yoga chal...lenge business with my friend @anthonymorello I got to spend so much quality time with my sister @nattgatt when she needed me the most. Which I am genuinely so grateful for. I learnt to appreciate the little things in life, how valuable quality family time really is. I got to explore beautiful areas in my own local area, which I know I never would have. I learnt how strong and resilient I really am and I learnt how to let go of control, to go with the flow. To surrender. What a lesson. Let's share our growths and support each other. X

06.01.2022 This picture was taken in Africa in 2012, when travel was a thing. Way before I knew anything about yoga. It looks like me doing the same old thang, but I was different. All I knew was gymnastics. Physical shapes. Nothing about mindfulness, nothing about the benefits of this pose, nothing about how to breathe properly coming in and out of deep positions... nothing about how open my heart was right at that very moment. ... Now I know And I am grateful Grateful for what I've learnt, grateful for my experience, grateful for who I am today, grateful that I got to go to Africa!
