It was thoroughly enjoyed by both the children and staff. Sharing warm hot chocolate and toasting marshmallows was the perfect way to spend this chilly winters day! We welcome risky play here at Whispering Gully. Risky play teaches valuable life lessons such as: awareness of their capabilities and limits, ability to assess and make judgement about risk, understanding the consequence of an action as well as confidence and independence. Real world learning!

Warm brown bread in a little roll, it rises up to feed us all."... Our Bluebells children enjoy the process of baking bread each Friday as part of our Daily Tasks. They are exposed to an array of concepts such as maths, science and health & wellbeing as they knead the dough, watch it rise then enjoy it with their friends for afternoon tea. Yum!

06.01.2022 Over the last couple of months, our Golden Wattles and Waratah children have been working hard to create beautiful works of art for the residents of the Pines Haven Aged Care in Eleanora. We hope these crafts of water colour and fleece bring happiness and love after a hard year 2.1: EYLF - Children develop a sense of belonging to groups and communities and an understanding of the reciprocal rights and responsibilities necessary for active community participation.
