She spent the whole day yesterday listening to Ear Nose Throat specialist Professor David McIntosh talk about the importance of a good airway and its link to oral health. As dentists, we look at mouths and throats every day. We are often the first to pick up signs of conditions such as sleep apnoea, blocked airways, sinus issues, reflux etc. if issues are picked up, we can then refer you to the correct specialist doctor.
