15.01.2022 CAR PARK 23 CLOSURE From Monday 21 October car park 23 will be closed for up to two weeks as asphalt works are undertaken. The Dog Park will only be accessible via the vehicle sally port at the side of the Dog Park (coming in from Harrow Street). 05.01.2022 SNAKE SEASON A tiger snake was spotted in the small dog area today. This is a timely reminder to be vigilant and keep a *close* eye on your dog at all times.... In the unfortunate event of a snake bite, treatment is the same as for a human. Note the location of the bite and get your dog to an emergency vet immediately. The nearest veterinary clinics to the Whiteman Park Dog Park that stock snake anti-venom are Vetwest Ballajura (open til 7pm weekdays, 5pm on weekends) and Vetwest Ellenbrook (open til 7pm weekends and 5pm on a Saturday). Balcatta Vet24 and Perth Vet Emergency in Tuart Hill are open after hours.

03.01.2022 What a year! Thanks to all our wonderful visitors, followers and volunteers for making 2019 such a big year. Wed like to wish you all a safe and happy New Year as well as welcome in a new decade to boot!

02.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE In this rapidly changing situation we find ourselves in, we wanted to update you all on what is happening at Whiteman Park. While the park itsel...f is currently still open (with plenty of fresh air and open space to make use of, at a healthy distance) there are a number of attraction closures now in place, until further notice: Bennett Brook Railway train rides Bright Press print shop Handcraft Centre Heritage Tram Rides Mini pool playground (from 25/3/20) Motor Museum of WA Revolutions Transport Museum Tractor Museum of WA Village Art Gallery In addition, all of the Parks tours, including the Whiteman Explore, Lews Legacy Express and Nocturnal Woylie Walks are now suspended until further notice, along with the weekend shuttle service operated by the Bus Preservation Society. The Village Cafe will only be operating a takeaway service, in line with current requirements. The Visitor Information Centre will be closed from today too. Should you require any information while in the Park, please call us on 9209 6000, or pop in to Whiteman Park Administration (opposite the VIC), remembering to keep your 1.5m distance. The wellbeing of our visitors, volunteers and staff is our top priority. We ask anyone visiting the Park to ensure they comply with current social distancing rules, remembering to keep a healthy space between you and others. Stay safe and healthy folks.
