19.01.2022 Here is a repair to a suspension hanger where the pivot bolt had loosened and worked against the hanger. A new hanger was unavailable so with some help of our local parts supplier we were able to retro fit this hanger repair kit that was specially made for these types of repairs.

16.01.2022 This client needed a cast alloy part repaired. It had several cracks and was oil soaked. We ground out the cracks and TIG welded them up. We then die grinded the curves and profiles back to its original shape, and finally had the part linished flat. This repair saved our customer approximately $2000 and over 3 weeks waiting time for a new part to arrive from overseas.

08.01.2022 We now have tooling allowing us to change bushes without having to remove parts from the vehicle. This tool saves us time and manual labour, which saves you down time on the vehicle, and cost of repairs. We have adapters for most metal bushes and air liner suspension. If we don’t have the adapter your vehicle requires, we can have one made at no charge to you.

08.01.2022 The truck we helped to recover from Eucla earlier on in the year had this bull bar which was bent in some areas. It made the truck look a bit ugly and is not needed for city driving. It needed to be removed. To save cost of a new bumper, paint and mounts we disassembled the upper and lower posts from the bull bar, made new mounting points that were previously damaged and polished the original bar section, the other advantage of this is the extra protection against small accidents that would normally destroy a standard bumper.

04.01.2022 In July we were busy assembling temporary hand rails as safety precaution on the vehicle. This design allows for the hand rails to be disassembled when loads are needed to be unloaded via forklifts or in locations where there are high restrictions; such as trees or powerlines, when using the vehicles crane.
