25.01.2022 It can become easy to see only the negative things in life. The knocks, the suffering and the darkness. This is only part of what is, and if you are willing to open your eyes, you get to see the full spectrum of life. Where there is darkness, there is light. Get in the habit of noticing the wonderful things in your world and feel the power of positivity.



24.01.2022 There are days when I am challenged with procrastination. That overpowering urge to delay or avoid doing something. Strangely, that something, is often a thing that I genuinely want to acheive. It is the three D's that get in my way DELAY- Why do it now, when I can do it later DISTRACTION- I will just check my messages, make a call, send an email; even clean the bathroom. All of these actions will take me away from my task for an hour or even a day. DISSUASION- The process I ...go through when I try to persuade and convience myself not to take action or continue. It can be easy to allow these three D's to lead me away from what I want to acheive. As soon as I become aware, that I am entertaining one of these D's; I am quick to respond, taking action and ending the procrastination. See more

When we let go of attachment to timelines and expectations; we open ourselves up to faith and opportunity. Life is so much more enjoyable when you are swimming with the wave, rather than against it. Trusting that it will lead you to your desires.

14.01.2022 Today is National R U OK Day in Australia. On this day you are encouraged to take some time to check in on the people around you and ask them how they are doing. So many of us, hide our struggles and go it alone. Putting on a brave face in public, only to breakdown behind closed doors. This can make it all seems so much worse, when we feel alone in our struggles. If you know of someone that maybe doing it tough right now, reach out and check in. The Whitsunday Suicide Prevention Network are holding a free 1 hr community event this evening at 6.00 pm; at Whitsunday Neighbouthood Center. Tonights session will look at ways of coping with stress and worry and how the breath can enhance your wellbeing.

When we take away access to technology and the noise and distraction of the everyday, so much more becomes apparent.
