25.01.2022 25 Years of Whitsunday Masters swimming! We celebrated this milestone at Montes resort for lunch on Sunday. It was great to catch up with past members Margaret Cunningham and Karen Mahood. He also had Jenni and Robbo from Mackay Sinkers join us. We looked through all the memorabilia that was brought along and President Bob and coach Mark both said a few words. We will now look forward to 30 years!!

21.01.2022 We held our swimming carnival at the Cannonvale pool last Saturday 22nd April. It was a relaxed and friendly carnival. Many thanks to Mark and Raylene in preparing the pool for the carnival after Cyclone Debbie. Thanks to everyone who travelled from Mackay, Townsville, Brisbane, Kingaroy etc to attend.

21.01.2022 Margaret cunningham is now in the World Swimmers Hall of Fame. Members of the Mackay Sinkers, Whitsunday Warriors and Rats of Tobruk Masters clubs were there to share the occasion with her. John Barrett, Dan Stanpa and Mark Erickson all spoke about Margaret's contribution to swimming at all levels. She is an inspiration to all of us. Thank you also to Margaret's daughter and son-in-law Sue and Nigel Dalton for putting together some great photos of Margaret throughout her stellar swimming career.

Thank you also to her daughter Sue and son-in-law Nigel for putting together some great photos of Margaret throughout her wonderful career as a swimmer.
