25.01.2022 WHOLESOME KIDS NEWCASTLE I'm super excited to be doing a Wholesome Kids presentation in Newcastle this Saturday! If you're close by or know anyone who would be interested, please come along at 3pm. 24.01.2022 With so many toxins in our world it is important to detoxify our bodies so the toxins don't build up. This build up can lead to varying illnesses, lethargy, weight gain, suppressed immune system and feeling overwhelmed with brain fog. The good news is we can gently detoxify daily!

19.01.2022 We really need to be aware of not just what we eat but what we put on our skin. Our skin is our biggest organ and absorbs whatever we put on it. Australia needs to follow many European countries and ban these chemicals & preservatives that are frequently becoming linked to illnesses. More and more is coming out on this issue. Australia allows over 4 million chemicals into our country, with 80,000 being used in everyday products. Less than 7% of these chemicals are tested. Become aware, search ingredient lists and use the chemical maze app to check their safety. My rant is over for the evening!!!

19.01.2022 WHOLESOME SCHOOLS I'm really looking forward to doing 3 presentations tomorrow for the Monaro Education Groups Staff Development Day. There will be teaching staff from 16 schools in our local area. It is so exciting to see schools becoming involved in the health and wellbeing of their staff and beautiful kids. Looking forward to seeing many of you there!

13.01.2022 There's nothing like an early morning run in -7 to wake you up for the day! It's often hard in winter to feel motivated to exercise but it is so worth it to make you feel alive, energised & get the endorphins pumping for the day (even if it is -7!!!).

11.01.2022 Thank you to the beautiful Newcastle girls who came yesterday. I loved meeting you and I'm really excited about doing more up here! So this is my chicken bone broth recipe I was chatting to you about.... In a large crockpot throw in organic chicken carcasses (I can fit 4), celery tops, 2 carrots chopped in big chunks, 4 garlic cloves, brown onion roughly chopped, 1/2 Tumeric bulb, 2 tbspns organic apple cider vinegar, Himalayan pink salt, any other veggies or herbs you like. Fill to the top with filtered water and leave on low for 24hrs. Enjoy! It truly is the most healing, predigested food for your gut, full of nutrients, and it is quick, easy & delicious!

08.01.2022 CHEMICAL MAZE This fantastic app is a great first step in helping you become an awesome food label detective which we need to be in today's world! So many nasty additives & chemicals creep into our foods, household cleaning & beauty products. Many containing GM ingredients or petroleum, many banned in other countries & many that state prohibited for infants however it is in 'natural' muesli bars & even baby wipes! It is scary but definitely worth knowing what we are feeding our bodies through our mouths & our skin.

05.01.2022 Happy weekend lovely friends! Hope you are enjoying some sunshine wherever you are, we even have sun in Cooma today! We have been fighting a cold this week and I can not recommend this brew highly enough. It is so quick and inexpensive and has been a fantastic immune booster for our family this winter. Fill a large saucepan with filtered water, chop 2-3 lemons (leave skin on & wash), 3-6 garlic cloves, a knob of ginger, cinnamon stick, 1/2 turmeric bulb. Start small, then if you want it stronger add more ingredients. Heat on stove, don't let it boil. Sip throughout the day! Keep it in the fridge for a week, just keep topping up with water then start again. Add a sml amt of honey to your cup if it is too strong. Enjoy! Thank you to Mum & Nic for the wonderful idea. It is even husband proof, my husband agrees it has kept the flu away!! Xx

02.01.2022 Delicious homemade custard! Cinnamon is a beautiful warming spice that aids digestion & Tumeric is the number one food to get rid of excess inflammation which a lot of us suffer from.
