07.01.2022 I am researching the Dickeson Family History. Two families, both from England. One family were "Felt & Hat Makers" - Joshua James Dickeson and family who afte...r arriving in Australia worked as a general & farm labourer before selecting land in the Wimmera area of Victoria. The other "Furniture Polishers & Cane and Umberella Markers" - Joshua Samuel Dickeson & family who settled in Melbourne and continued their trade. Oral family history tells me that descendants of both these Dickeson family members [they were ? Cousins] later moved to Adelaide, Broken Hill and Whyalla with various occupations. If anyone has connection with a Dickeson family or descendants I would really appreciate hearing from them. See more
