25.01.2022 Last night we held our Presentation Dinner, presenting our Champion Bob Berg Buckles, Reserve Champion Bang For Your Buck Rugs Encouragement Awards & our very special Thank You Gifts. Along with a delicious meal catered for us all, by Roz Beddows & her marvellous Team. 06.01.2022 Unfortunately due to a number of reasons, we have made the decision to cancel our first points day of 2020 as posted yesterday evening. As per our AGM, our com...mittee intends to resurface the cutting pen, which we are still currently working on. As you could understand this is something that does not happen over night. Nominations for MARCH 28, will open @ 7am on March 15. Classes will be OPEN, NOVICE, SNAFFLE BIT, ENCOURAGEMENT SNAFFLE BIT, BEGINNER HORSE, BEGINNER RIDER, YOUTH, MECHANICAL COW. Limit of 6 runs per rider (or 2 in each class). Please note that our Beginner Horse class, refers to a horses first year of competition. One run per Event (cattle will not be worked twice as per previous years in the best interest of cattle & their donors). I will endeavour to get new membership forms to everyone on my arrival home next week. These will be emailed out. Please feel free to drop your email address below, if you are not a previous member. 02.01.2022 Our recent AGM was held December 7. Changes have been made to our Show Days, and these decisions were not made lightly. Cattle, & our Stock Donors were our num...ber one priority. Preworks each Friday prior to Show Day (late evening & into night under lights) 2020 will see ONE RUN being introduced for each class (eliminating working our cattle again in the afternoon). Competitors are limited to TWO horses in each class & can claim points on all horses entered (eg. 2 in Snaffle Bit. 2 in Novice. 2 in Open) An Encouragement Snaffle Bit class has been added to our program. Open to any horse OR rider that has not won an Open Snaffle Bit event. Beginner Horse & Beginner Rider competitors are encouraged to enter Encouragement Snaffle Bit (keeping in mind horse OR rider MUST NOT have won an Open Snaffle Bit event) Horses that have previously won Champion, or Reserve Champion Snaffle Bit, are not required to leave this class the following year. (Riders choice to step up into Novice). Youth are NOT permitted to ride Stallions under no circumstance all Youth under the age of 18 MUST wear a Helmet Turn Back of the Year Award Nose Bands are NOT PERMITTED Committee discretion on Beginner Horse & Beginner Rider eligibility Day Members are ineligible to collect Points towards end of year Buckles.
