25.01.2022 The Finals dates for this season are as follows: Semi Finals (1 V 4) (2 V3) - Commencing Monday 19th of October Grand Finals Winners of respective semi - Commencing Monday 26th of October... The new season will rollover on the 19th of October meaning that teams not in semi finals will be starting their new season and the finals games will count to start of new season for those other teams.

12.01.2022 CORONAVIRUS - CURRENT STATUS AND MEASURES IN PLACE AT WILDCATZ INDOOR SPORT 16/03/2020 AT THIS STAGE GAMES WILL BE PLAYED AS SCHEDULED... Our focus is maintaining a safe environment for our players and the wider community to continue to enjoy their sport. We will continue to ensure we are operating in line with the advice provided by the State and federal governments, as it relates to indoor centres. We are keeping up to date with any changes to the status of this ongoing issue via Queensland Health and the most current status updates as they arise. Following current recommendations and to minimise the risk to our customers, staff and supporters we will be asking all players from today forward to: Be vigilant with hand washing procedures prior to and after games Refrain from shaking hands, better options may include a fist pump, the elbow handshake or three cheers for the opposition DO NOT attend the centre if you feel unwell until symptoms subside or you obtain a medical clearance It is recommended that players do not participate in team huddles and refrain from contact in celebration of goals/wickets Anyone returning from overseas after midnight 15th March 2020 is required by the Government to self-isolate for 14 days We will be implementing strategies to reduce the likelihood of unnecessary and extended social contact and at this stage will be applying the following as required: Hand sanitiser will be readily available at the counter All surfaces will be disinfected every night both before and after the fixtures for the evening including all zippers and entry flaps to the courts Netball All netballs will be sanitised after each game Bibs will still be available for use from the games counter these are not reused and are washed prior to re-use Soccer All soccer balls will be sanitised after each game Bibs will still be available for use from the games counter these are not reused and are washed prior to re-use. 09.01.2022 Dear Players, Supporters and Friends COVID 19 - UPDATE 23/3/2020 STATUS - CENTRE CLOSED ... Last night Prime Minister Scott Morrison has announced the closing of all indoor sporting venues and Gyms as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic currently sweeping our country. Wildcatz Indoor Sports will be closed from 12pm today, 23rd March, 2020. This closure includes all sporting fixtures for Cricket, Netball, Soccer, Volleyball, Rounders and all Junior Sports. This closure is "short term" although we are unsure as too how long this closure will be. We will continually be reassessing the situation and follow all government guidelines as to when we can re-open. We will be keeping everyone up to date on our social media pages with the situation as we receive more information. 07.01.2022 Starting Monday the 8th of June we will be re-opening with the sport of Volleyball. At this stage Volleyball is the only sport we are allowed run. We have contacted all of our original teams and we a glad to hear they were all keen to come back! If you were interested in getting a team together, than now is the perfect time! 04.01.2022 CORANAVIRUS UPDATE ON ALL FIXTURES AT WILDCATZ INDOOR SPORTS 18/03/2020 As per the guidelines given from the Australian Government this morning to limit indoor group gatherings to 100 people we are taking the following actions.... ALL GAMES ARE STILL GOING AHEAD AS SCHEDULED We will be operating as per the guidelines given to us. We ask that all teams refrain from arriving at the centre early to the fixtures and only enter the centre when the fixture is due to start. We also ask that all players leave the centre in a timely fashion after the conclusion of their fixture. This will help ensure the next fixtures start on time and also keep our occupancy down below 100 at all times. We will also be taking a hourly headcount at 6 pm, 7 pm and 8 pm to ensure we stay compliant with the new guidelines. We also strongly recommend the following; If you are unwell or showing any symptoms, please stay home Proper cleanliness etiquette is followed in regard to coughing, sneezing and personal hygiene Thorough and proper washing of your hands at all times before and after your fixtures Be cautious of people’s personal space Refrain from making contact with each other like shaking hands etc at the end of a game. We still highly encourage the highest level of sportsperson-ship and encourage you to offer a simple thank you to your opposition. We have also taken our own precautions which include; Installed signage to encourage proper hygiene Increased our cleaning schedule and will continue to clean throughout our hours of operation Made hand sanitiser and anti-bacterial wipes readily available at the games counter Taken a number of cleaning and disinfecting initiatives with each sports equipment Removal of all shared gloves provided by us It is ultimately your decision to play your sport at this time so if you are unwell or feel it is in your best interest not to play, we respect your decision without penalty. Kids will enjoy a variety of sports that we offer and try there hand at beating the Ninja Parc Obstacle course.
