14.01.2022 In memories of Dave Higsey. Jim and I were devastated when Dave was not able to visit us this year as planned. It was on Dave’s bucket list to revisit Wilderness Island with his family. Unfortunately, Dave passed away due to cancer. His wish was to spread his ashes at Wilderness Island. We felt honoured to be able to fulfill his wish. Dave has a beautiful family that we got to know and spend time with. What a legacy he has left behind. The week was full with great company, lots of fish that got away, too much food and drinks, tears and laughter. What more can you wish for than creating beautiful memories. Thank you Dave. We will always remember you and in honour of Dave we named the creeks at Tent Island Higsey’s Creek. @ Wilderness Island

13.01.2022 Dr Chan was super happy when he caught a North West Snapper. That was his catch for the day and he was happy to lay back at camp as his dinner was caught. No need to over exhaust yourself.
