10.01.2022 The body is where we store our traumas, our unconscious, unintegrated parts, the lost, "broken" or forgotten parts to put it more poetically. Envy in this proverb could be described as a part of us that is out of place, because if we have envy, we are not completely content, therefore we are not completely whole. Any other trait which is not useful to us in a nurturing way could be placed in leu of envy here as the result is the same. If we think about trauma in this context,... it is a huge catalyst for why we may find ourselves harbouring traits which do not serve our utmost good and well-being. If we can find a way to give ourselves peace from the inner turmoil we feel using the body, our mind and heart will be set free. From then on if we continue to work in a way which honors our new way of feeling we can be stronger and more resilient as life continues to happen to us. No more do we feel the piling on of one thing building onto another while we hold feelings in our stomachs and hearts such as "when does it end".
