23.01.2022 Easter Trading Hours: We will be closed from Good Friday til Easter Monday, and back to trading our usual hours from next Tuesday. Have a safe and happy easter!

20.01.2022 Hi everyone, In regards to this horrible virus going around we have made a few adjustments to the runnings of the restaurant. - we ask staff and guests that are not feeling well to do the right thing and stay at home... - all tables, chairs, menus, surfaces etc are sprayed regularly with sanitizer to prevent spreading, hand satiser is also available for everyone. - we are not taking double seatings anymore, only one reservation per night per table to ensure the staff have adequate time to sanitize and clean. We apologies for any inconvenience this may cause but I'm sure you understand, and hope to see you all again. Joep & Staff *update* due to the goverments new space restrictions we are now only allowed 71 people on the premises, including 6 staff. This allows for 65 guests to join us every lunch and dinner. We apologise if we can not take your booking when we get over this limit, and hope to see you another time.

10.01.2022 Wild Lotus Restaurant (433 esplanade, torquay) is looking for 1 or 2 casual wait staff. Approx 15/20 hours per week. If you apply you must: - be available at nights and weekends (we are closed on Sundays) - enjoy working in a team environment ... - enjoy serving customers, be friendly and inviting - be able to handle responsibility - be able to deal with busy and stressful service peaks - have a current RSA Gender and age are irrelevant, experience is a bonus but not a must, just be willing to work and the rest will come naturally for the right person. 02.01.2022 Fraser Coast Intrepid Landcare are proud to announce the installation of Hervey Bay's first ever Seabin! We have been working alongside Pacific Whale Foundation... Australia and the Great Sandy Straits Marina to make this moment happen so to see our Seabin installed by David and Portsea from The Seabin Project was an incredible moment. We are also especially thankful to Mayor George Seymour - Fraser Coast Mayor for funding this project and helping us to protect our ocean and waterways. Thank you to all who attended the installation including Councillor Zane O'Keefe. We cannot wait to see the positive impact this is going to have in helping to keep our ocean clean!
