No techn...ique will achieve relatedness. I am impossible to get along with; so is each one of you; all our friends are impossible; the members of our families are impossible. How then shall we get along with them? If you are seeking a real encounter, then you must confront the koan represented by the other person. The koan is an invitation to enter into reality.".... A wonderful article...something I have been deeply involved in, especially over the last years...as I started to awaken to love...began to feel the pain and joy of love...seeing my illusions and having all crumble...yet seeing for the first time what love is and isn't....while also kicking and screaming or rather silently grieving my wonderful fantasies evaporating...total deconstruction while being held in deep love...consciously saying yes to all...even if it hurt so much...saying yes to love and life...yes to joy and pain...yes to no ...yes to me in this physical form with all my traits...yes to everyone else just as they are...it is an ongoing journey and work with the self on all levels first and foremost. Remembering who we truly are...seeing our humanness...rising into our wholeness...loving ourself completely...sitting in love and letting love teach and guide us...the deeper and completer we know ourselves and accept and love what we find...opening to ourselves, life and love...the more we can do that with another...others...as well. When I say on my website, healing through love...it is that what I mean...it must be felt to be understood...Love is a spiritual force...not an emotion...it is a state of being...we are it. Self-realization shows that. Then a loving space holding takes over techniques. Awakening is not a once off event but an ongoing process...relationships in all forms, from family to friends to community to sexual to work to deep intimate relating are showing us where we are at...are challenging us to grow...and I feel part of why we/I am here... What I share with you is what has been helping me on this path...walking this unknown territory, that feels ever more deeply familiar ...forever expanding on all levels and assisting the bodymindspirit in wholeness...BodyTalk, Nia, Yoga, Tantra, Shamanic work... Moving our bodies in and with nature...opening our skin and senses...our ...soles of the feet...awakening our spine...awakening our whole being to life...always deeper opening and wakefullness possible to who we really are...to life and to love...dropping out of daily routines to play in a park...to forget who we thought we were and emerge anew...again and again.... Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer. Rainer Maria Rilke I resonate with this poem and Rilke. Awakening is an ongoing process...becoming more and more aware...and then 'answers' come...they are deep inside of us...and the more we open and open....the more courageously and relaxed in surrender we watch...and fall deeper and deeper inside of ourselves....the more clear we see....our original consciousness...our original innocence...our true self.... life changes...and as we grow, the more we are able to live the 'answers'....that is what 'doing our work' means...it can't really be put into words...yet a deep part in you knows as you read.
