I feel a bit like my 13 year old self when I was grounded! ... We have just a few of our beautiful colouring calendars left, and some very pretty, embossed stationery sets if you need a mental break. Do you know someone who would love to get a proper hand written letter from you? We also have .... snacks. 03.01.2022 Good morning dear folk, In the cabinet today... Mango Weis Slice (gluten free, vegan, refined sugar free)... Apricot Slice: this is my *favourite*. I’m not vegan, but this is the sweet I am most guilty of eating at work! I like that it’s gf, refined sugar free, and it’s made with ingredients that are good for you, but that’s basically a bonus: it’s the unlikely favour combo of apricot & chocolate that I like Three gorgeous designs to choose from in our Marini Ferlazzo range of journals. We have more surprises coming soon from this artist. Flowers + animals = fun and quirky! Snacks! The unusual amount of icing sugar dust I was wearing yesterday was from packaging our sweets. We have fresh, soft, amazing, dreamy Turkish Delight in several flavours, dusty jelly babies, and colored liquorice bullets. (Did anyone else feel like you’d been sent on a time out? ) Tomorrow, and until 22nd January, our staff will still be required to wear a mask in the cafe. ... As a visitor, you are not required to wear a mask while you are in the cafe. So when you smile as you come in, you’ll have to trust us that we are smiling back! I found myself waving at people a lot while wearing a mask at work. Smiling at someone while wearing a mask looks suspiciously like you’re just staring at them! All the people who walked past our cafe in the morning and found a random lady waving at them, that’s why Have a great evening folks!
