24.01.2022 Wildwon case study: Breakthrough 2016, the biggest gender equality conference in the nation’s history and the largest event of its kind in a generation. Wildwon was super proud to help craft Breakthrough, hosted by the Victorian Women's Trust (VWT) and focused on bringing people together around the cause of gender equality - the most important opportunity of our time. 20.01.2022 Here's another one for the #thinkingsydneysiderseventscalendar: The Big Anxiety Festival, which starts on 20 September. Find out more at www.thebiganxiety.org Bringing together artists, scientists, technologists and thinkers, the two-month festival will use art as a means to transform the way people think about and deal with mental health. The inaugural festival will present over 60 events across Sydney with hubs located at Customs House, Riverside Theatre and UNSW, with five focus areas - awkward conversations, lived experiences, the 'NeurodiverseCity', mood experiments and power, politics and institutions.

17.01.2022 A new piece of research (called 'The Experience Movement') shows the experience economy and demand for live events are stronger than ever. According to the research, the craving people have for real world experiences stems from a desire to create positive change, feel part of something and to have a meaningful connection with people, their community and the world. Well... of course!! Read the research summary and download the report here: www.eventbrite.com/l/millennialsreport-2017 "For Millennials, experiences continue to trump things: 3 out of 4 Millennials would choose to spend their money on an experience rather than buying something desirable."

15.01.2022 Wildwon case study: Learn about our partnership with RMIT University which resulted in 'Beyond Research', a 3-day conference celebrating RMIT's cutting edge approach to research. Read it here: wildwon.com.au/beyond-research-2017 #RMITBR17 "Wildwon are strategic thinkers foremost. Their human, intellectual and information resourcing, along with the vast networks they accessed were key to developing an event of this magnitude in the short timeframe given. - Louise Francis, Manager - Enabling Capabilities Program, RMIT University

12.01.2022 Hear from Barrister Julian Burnside about justice what it means to him and what it should mean to all of us at Monday Conversations: Doing Justice on Monday 9 October, with acting CEO of the Women's Justice Network, Kat Armstrong and event host, Benjamin Law. #mondayconversations #thinkingsydneysiderseventscalendar

11.01.2022 This is a solar-powered light installation we created for Vivid Sydney all the way back in 2014. 'Ray', as we called him, was the first solar-powered light installation at Vivid, was interactive (he talked to you if you tweeted him) and was the most visited art work at Vivid that year (according to IBM data on the Vivid crowd). Ray also got stacks of media coverage from SBS, Now This News, Inhabitat and Vice Creators Project. We had never done anything like it before but were... so glad we did, working with an incredibly talented team to pull it together: Pollinate Energy (the brand we were bringing to life at Vivid), Amigo & Amigo (light sculptors), S1T2 (interactivity), Southern Cross University (who brought the solar panels to Sydney!) and PwC Australia who sponsored the installation. 06.01.2022 There are all sorts of amazing events coming up next month but we're particulary gearing up for 'Antidote' over the weekend of 2 and 3 September at the Sydney Opera House. #thinkingsydneysiderseventscalendar More info: antidote.sydneyoperahouse.com "Politics. Climate change. Fake news. Money. We’ve spent years talking about the world’s problems. Now we need an Antidote. Prepare yourself for bold ideas. For art, attitude, creativity and culture. It’s time to recharge. Rethink. Take stock, and take action."
