09.01.2022 Perfect morning for a ferry ride to KI to conduct jetty inspections. Great to see Walshy our Coxswain taking one for the team and putting our work boat to good use.



02.01.2022 WMF's crane truck being put to good use installing marker buoys for T-Ports at Lucky bay on the Eyre Peninsula. With the assistance of Whyalla Dive and Marine & Earth Hydro Services the buoys were towed out and placed into position.

02.01.2022 Bratten Bridge upgrade project on the Lipson-Ungarra Road in Tumby Bay is well underway. SGP Civil are the head contractor to local council with works including civil construction, approach slab, bridge strengthening, new deck, bitumen, and kerbing. Scaffolding and encapsulation by Major Contracting Port Lincoln. Blast and painting of existing bridge girders by Rust Busters Port Lincoln. WMF are responsible for the fabrication and installation of new traffic barriers. It is great to be involved in another regional project supporting local communities.

01.01.2022 Despite the economic impact of COVID-19, WMF is still contributing to the states economy as an essential service. Transfer cradle assemblies to suit the Cape Class Patrol Boats currently being fabricated. The cradles will be installed at HMAS Coonawarra Naval Base, Darwin in the Northern Territory.
