25.01.2022 Between illness, injuries, lameness and last minute double-bookings, we had an exclusive number of new eventers for our practice ODE today. But what a glorious day! Well done to all; hopefully it's the start of many ODEs for you and your horses! These photos are free to use, either with watermark still visible or photo credit to @willowsleap; make sure you show everyone how awesome you were!

25.01.2022 Remember that kid who dreamt every year that maybe this Christmas would be the one where Santa *finally* listened to their dreams & bought them a pony? That scr...awny one who gasped breathlessly when they saw a field of horses flash by on a car journey? The kid who didn’t walk anywhere but cantered? Their bedroom walls weren’t covered with posters of pop stars but pages showing their favourite horses & riders ripped from Pony magazine. The scent of a horse was a magic elixir to them, it filled their heads with dreams & hopes. That scent made everything possible. All that kid wanted was regular riding lessons, a pair of long rubber riding boots & a palomino with a flowing mane & tail. Do you remember that kid? Because they are still here & they are bored. They are bored of you not appreciating what you have. They are bored of you worrying that you aren’t good enough, they are bored of you thinking you have to have spend eleventy billion pounds in the latest smartest tack & rugs or you are somehow failing. They are bored of you caring too much about your results & comparing yourself to others shiny Insta show reel of success. They are so fucking bored of all of that shit. Don’t forget that poor, bored kid...g’waaaaan let their joy & happiness just to be around horses back out. Stop stressing & comparing & beating yourself up, & start cantering everywhere instead of walking. Because everything you have now is what they once dared to dream of, did you forget that? Word.

24.01.2022 In case you hadn’t noticed, it’s raining. Now, we wouldn’t normally be calling off an event here with 5 days to go, BUT, we’ve had 90mm of rain so far, with lots more predicted for the rest of the week. So, sadly, all lessons and our practice Hallowe’en ODE are cancelled this week. We will be in touch soon to reschedule... #horses #weather #eventing #goodforducks

20.01.2022 We have been a little quiet, with the recent wet weather... but we are BACK! Clinic day next Saturday, the 14th November. Small group lessons (3- 4 per group), $70 per horse. Heights from 45cm through to 105cm. ODE training day, Sunday 15th November. Ride a dressage test, do a couple of rounds of show jumping, and then have a run around a full cross country course. Entirely non- competitive, and a great opportunity to train in a friendly and safe environment. Numbers strictly limited- only 3 places left. Horses and riders MUST have schooled cross country, before, to be able to do this day! $80 per horse. Message us, to book in!

17.01.2022 And now, here comes the thunder... We were super lucky tonight; all the horses were fed and rugged, JUST before this hit. Hope you are in the same boat. Or, should that be ark?

17.01.2022 Good morning... #horses #equestrian #eventing #pony #poniesofinstagram #ponies
