11.01.2022 Hi to all members of the W.A.F.G., It has been decided by a majority of committee members that future meetings of our association be cancelled till it advisable for us to resume them. Lindsay Smith has been informed that we wont need the rooms for now. As Im not in possession of all members names, addresss and phone numbers could those of you who do please let our members know.... Im sure if we contact someone more than once wont be a problem. I am very sad that this has to be done as there are a lot of very interesting subjects to be presented. Maybe we could hold them over till next year. Thank you for your understanding and please let all of us be safe. Tony Ward. W.A.F.G. President.

08.01.2022 Hi, I’ve been doing so research lately on my paternal Nanna’s father aka my Great Grandad and found some really interesting info worthy of sharing. Thought you might like to share Biography Francis (Frank) Emmett John Horace Rossbotham was born 1899, his birth registered that year at Northcote, Victoria, the son of Marcus Alexander Rossbotham and Rubena Theresa Byrne. 06.01.2022 As you will now be aware the Government has closed all but essential services and has banned gatherings of meetings etc.. of over 100 people. Now I am aware we dont have anywhere near 100 members but we are required to keep a distance of 2 meters from others if possible. I feel that this would make our General Meetings all but impossible to hold. I would like you feelings on wether we should cancel our meetings, both Committee and General, till we are given the all clear to ...hold them again. Im very reluctant to do this as I feel there are some very interesting subjects being presented. I feel personally we should cancel both meetings for now. Id like to hear your thoughts. Thanking you, stay safe. Tony.
