20.01.2022 We were paid a very welcome visit by our local state member for Redlands, the Honorable Kim Richards MP. Kim even tried her hand at joining a handle to a fresh...ly thrown clay cup. Kim's visit was inspired not just out of curiosity about our now well established pottery, but also because she wanted to see how Windmill Pottery was developing a project on residencies at the pottery for local, national and overseas visiting potters. Windmill Pottery was successful in receiving a grant from the Queensland Government for video equipment to produce promotional documentaries for the project. These would be produced by Academy Award nominated filmmaker and Resident Master Potter, Paul Holland. You can see one of those promotional documentaries by pasting 'Pich Song Master Potter' in your internet browser. https://www.google.com/url See more

20.01.2022 Windmill Pottery in the Redlands are once more offering introductory glazing classes to budding potters. We will supply unglazed pots free of charge or you can bring your own. Because our clay is stoneware, your pots will be waterproof, dishwasher, oven and microwave safe, not to mention attractive and colourful. This class is a great introduction to gl...azing techniques which will give the budding potter a springboard into even more specialised glazing techniques. https://windmillpottery.com.au//copy-of-gift-voucher-for-a
