And it's all beautifully brought to life by some pretty spectacular puppetry. A huge thank you to TAFE SA's music department at Adelaide College of the Arts for helping us record the track in their state of the art facilities, and Arts South Australia for supporting this project. A big thank you to John Gardner MP for sharing the announcement of Bluey's Big Play coming to SA and mentioning the many wonderful South Australian arts workers who will work on the production. On the same day that Arts South Australia announced another funding boost for the arts, it was incredible to see recognition of the diverse range of people that our industry employs and the positive impact it has on our economy. ... We're very lucky to work at the centre of such a fabulous creative community.

Playwriting Australia's Dear Australia project kicks off this week, with our nominated artists Elena Carapetis and Julianne O'Brien crafting some pretty special pieces about the state of our nation.

10.01.2022 I think there’s this ancient idea of passing down stories and people sitting around together... It’s what Grandparents used to do they’d tell stories and that’s how you’d sort of form your identity and understand your place in the community too. And I think that’s a really cool thing that theatre does. The excellent Matt Crook reflects on the importance of live performance after performing in our recent sold out season of Grug.

We've worked with our artists built a new digital platform, we've started work on a new animated webseries and we've fast-tracked creative developments for future productions.
