Survivors Day events allow you to find & share in the messages of healing and hope. Some of these events screen movies and documentaries about coping with suicide after a shared loss. They depict all of the difficult stages including denial, isolation, grief, and the ways in which you can heal from the pain. Write it out. Art is a great way to express yourself when times get difficult. Grab a journal or use your computer to write down your thoughts. This can be in the form of a poem, a story, or just a journal entry. By expressing yourself, you can come to understand your feelings and where they’re coming from. 07.01.2022 The team at Windsor Funeral Home noticed that the Hawkesbury Police were asking our community to help the Children's Hospital at Westmead by collecting playdough. The playdough is used for physiotherapy, muscle recovery, and every child loves play dough. The play dough can only be used once and as a result the hospital goes through quiet alot.... The Children's Hospital is such a special place and for some of us, has been somewhere we have had to go to or stay at, to get our own children better. This might only be a small offering, but we thank not just the Hawkesbury Police but all the staff & volunteer's at the hospital, they work so hard to look after each and every family that has to go there.
