19.01.2022 R U OK? Day - WEAR SOMETHING YELLOW WITH YOUR SCHOOL UNIFORM ON THURSDAY!! Got a feeling that someone you know or care about it isnt behaving as they normally would? Perhaps they seem out of sorts? More agitated or withdrawn? Or theyre just not themselves. Trust that gut instinct and act on it. By starting a conversation and commenting on the changes youve noticed, you could help that family member, friend or workmate open up. If they say they are not ok, you can follow ou...r conversation steps to show them theyre supported and help them find strategies to better manage the load. If they are ok, that person will know youre someone who cares enough to ask. A reminder that this Thursday 10th September is R U OK? Day! WEAR SOMETHING BRIGHT YELLOW WITH YOUR SCHOOL UNIFORM (an accessory like a ribbon, sunglasses, headband, socks, a pin, a bandanna etc. etc.) in support and check-in with your friends and family. 16.01.2022 Under 8s Day! On Thursday 17th September, the children in Prep to Year 2 will be participating in an activities morning to celebrate Under 8s week. This day is dedicated to celebrating the early years of school and the theme this year is Play, Playfulness, Engaged Learners. Under 8s Day will be held according to COVID Safe guidelines, therefore there will be no parents at this event. ... The children are invited to wear free dress. Due to the nature of some of the activities, it would be great if they could come dressed in clothes that they can get messy in. Please also send along a small bag (plastic/enviro ect.) for your child to take around to put their crafts in. Please ensure that all children have a hat and sunscreen on. At this event the Prep children will be supervised by their buddies and the Year 1 & Year 2 students will move around the activities in small groups. The festivities will begin at 9am and will finish at 11am (first break). Zooper Doopers will be on sale at 11am for $1. Please send along $1 if your child wishes to buy a Zooper Dooper at first break. We are all looking forward to a fun morning!
