The other picture is an invasive species called Ox-eye Daisy or .... Once commonly grown in cottage gardens, ox-eye daisy poses a significant risk to both environmental and grazing land as it spreads rapidly and outcompetes both native and pasture species. The seed contaminates soil/mud and is then spread by animals, on footwear, vehicles, farm machinery and earthmoving equipment. We've had numerous reports of ox-eye daisy here in the Southern Highlands, particularly in the east. Think you've spotted it on your property? Contact our Biosecurity Officers on phone 4868 0888 for help with identification and to discuss control options. More info: https://weeds.dpi.nsw.gov.au/Weeds/OxeyeDaisy
