21.01.2022 The new cattle sheds are underway and as much as this rain Wingham is getting is lovely it is slowing the process down a little. Looking forward to seeing the finished project in 2021. (Photos taken before the rain started)

21.01.2022 If you still have no power and require cold storage space the show ground have their cool rooms running free of charge also if you require a hot shower your welcome. Just drop into the caretakers cottage and see Dawby after 7.30pm tonight to notify him that you are on site.

18.01.2022 FIRE NOTICE FOR FAMILIES THAT NEED ASSISTANCE The Wingham show ground is open to anyone for the evacuation of all animals , as well as personal belongings for the Hillville fire area or anyone affected locally.... Facilities are open now for families or travelling Firey’s for cooking and sleeping and to store items if needed. There will be no charge for the people that need this assistance. Please be safe everyone. FOR FAMILY AND FRIENDS CONCERNED ...You can monitor the fires by using the Fires Near Me app. Thank you to all our fire service personnel who are protecting our properties, please access the Showground facilities as required. 14.01.2022 The Trust was very pleased with the local community that utilised the Show Ground whilst they had power outages. We also sustained damages to some of buildings and lost a few big trees which will have to be repaired after the new year but we will ensure it’s all cleaned up ready for the Summer Time Rodeo in January. Just another reminder to all of our community that the Show Ground is There for all of us to utilise for many functions so don’t be afraid to make contact at any time to see what’s available. Have a Merry Xmas and a safe New Year.
