22.01.2022 BORDER CLOSURE CHANGES Members Because of the closure of the NSW border with Victoria and the limits it places on movement between the states, we have made some changes to opening hours and coordinators at the courts. This arrangement will change as further information on the availability of permits becomes available, but will be in place for at least two weeks. Arrangements are:... Opening hours : Monday 5.00 pm 8.00 pm Coordinators Peter Burdak, Scott Petts, Chris Breitkopf Tuesday 5.00 pm 8.00 pm Coordinators Peter Burdak, Nik Fischer Wednesday 5.00 pm 8.00 pm Coordinators Chris Breitkopf, Jackson Cribb Thursday 5.00 pm 8.00 pm Coordinators Annie Jarrett, Jackson Cribb Friday 5.00 pm 8.00 pm Coordinator Chris Breitkopf Note: Saturday morning juniors and Sunday opening have been cancelled. Players who live in Albury (within 50 km of the border) will need to apply for a COVID 19 border declaration permit which lasts for 14 days, on the Services NSW website, and face the possible delays at the checkpoint when returning to NSW. The permit is not difficult to get.

19.01.2022 Members Under the Stage 3 restrictions implemented by the Victorian government this week gyms and indoor sports centres are among the businesses that have been forced to close. Accordingly squash and racquetball activities will cease after this Wednesday August 5th, until further notice. Hopefully by the end of September we will be able to resume activities. When Lavington club closed we not only welcomed and gained new members but we were fortunate to welcome you and you subsequently became our president. Thankyou for everything you do for our club including coordinating competitions and events, endless administration including applying for grants, interacting with other clubs, encouraging and working with juniors, coordinating and running school groups and your dedication, enthusiasm and professionalism in guiding our club to what it is today (normally not in COVID times). 05.01.2022 Saturday morning Juniors is back! Booking is essential as we are currently limited to 12 kids per session. There will be two 1 hour sessions, starting 9.30 and 10.30. Cost is $5. Contact Pete Baines on 0428211486 to book. Due to COVID restrictions only 1 accompanying adult allowed at drop off and pick up. Masks to be worn by over 12’s when not on court. ... 05.01.2022 Due to the much more stringent border controls which have been introduced this week we have been forced to change the current opening hours at the squash courts. From Monday July 27 until further notice the courts will open on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings for play at 5.00, 6.00 and 7.00 pm. Tuesday morning for the ladies group will continue. School bookings will also continue (currently Thursday afternoon). Bookings can continue to be made through the link on our we...bsite https://www.wodongasquashracquetball.com/book-online Coordinators for each of the nights are: Monday: Taz Fischer, Annie Jarrett, Jackson Cribb, Scott Petts Tuesday: Peter Burdak, Nik Fischer Wednesday: Chris Breitkopf, Jackson Cribb Thanks to these members for stepping up and bearing the load while our NSW based coordinators are unable to cross the border.
