18.01.2022 NV GOODWILL REIMBURSEMENT POLICY Information regarding Netball Victorias Goodwill Membership Reimbursement Policy was sent to all 2020 registered members on Monday 10 August. If you have not received the email, please let NV know. A few key points regarding membership reimbursement options: 1. There will be no increase to Netball Victoria Membership fees in 2021. Note: NetSetGO may be considered separately.... 2. Members may choose to pledge their Netball Victoria membership fee. These members will remain a 2020 member and will continue to enjoy all member benefits. 3. Members who have NOT participated in a fixtured match or commenced a program such as NetSetGO will be eligible for a full reimbursement. These members may choose to roll their membership over to 2021. 4. Members who have participated in a fixtured match or commenced a program such as NetSetGO will be eligible for a 50% reimbursement. To clarify a common question, if a member seeks a partial reimbursement they will remain a registered Netball Victoria member and they will still be able to train, play, coach or umpire later in the year, should we get back on the court - This includes any representative trials that may be held later this year. Individuals that seek a full reimbursement will be deregistered. Any member that requests a full reimbursement, then decides to play later in the year will need to purchase another Netball Victoria Membership. 17.01.2022 NETBALL VICTORIA STATE TEAM TRIALS INFORMATION Netball Victoria has released the following information regarding their State Team trials for 17U and 19U players. Athletes born in 2004/05 are eligible for 17U and those born in 2002/03 are eligible for 19U. Please note, any athlete in the 2020 NV Talent Academy program will not need to register for these trials. 16.01.2022 Effective 11:59pm Wednesday 16 September, regional Victoria will move to Step Three of the reopening roadmap. This will see an easing of some restrictions inclu...ding the return of outdoor contact and non-contact sport for people 18 years and under, and the return of outdoor non-contact sport for adults. At this stage, Netball Victoria does not endorse the return of any community netball activity. We will update the Return to Community Netball guidelines and ensure we have the necessary information regarding a safe return

In an environment where some multi-national corporations have faltered- a small, not-for-profit state sporting organisation, is still chugging along. Its not quite business as normal working environments, staff hours and the way netball is delivered have all had to change but it is business as usual. Netball Victoria exists to improve peoples lives, and we are thankful that they will withstand the pandemic and be there to support organisations like ours and our Clubs now and into the future. Our Association/League is also in a sound position. Things will be difficult, but with the support we receive from both Netball Victoria and our community, we know we will be okay. In all areas of our lives we have been forced to adapt over recent months, and netball has been no exception to this. But at the end of the day we #PlayForTheLove. And the small sacrifices we have had to make will soon seem a distant memory when we are back on the court and thriving once again. A strong Netball Victoria is important to us, not just for our Association/League, but for the overall longevity of the sport we love. 13.01.2022 ALL 2020 SEASONS CANCELLED AT SNA As a committee we have made the heart breaking decision that SNA will not be returning to netball in 2020. With Stage 3 restrictions currently in place until at least September 14th and no definitive return to play dates, it was unanimously decided it would be unrealistic for us to be able to plan and execute any further competitions this year in the time remaining. Please understand this was not an easy decision to make. As an associ...ation we have an obligation to prioritise the health and safety of all our members and their families during the Covid-19 pandemic, while also ensuring we minimise the burden on our small group of volunteers. Wed like to take this opportunity to thank all of our players, coaches, parents, volunteers, umpires and supporters for their patience and understanding while we worked through these challenging times. Please stay safe and heed the advice and regulations in place as we all work together for a successful return to netball in 2021. 09.01.2022 NETBALL VICTORIA MEMBERSHIP REIMBURSEMENT UPDATE Netball Victoria have a few quick points regarding the reimbursement process to date. *Members, please make sure you are entering the correct information in the application form. Netball Victoria is receiving applications with incorrect information, including bank account details which makes it impossible for them to process the reimbursement. *The team at Netball Victoria is reviewing application requests as they come in.... They have found that some members are requesting a full refund when they have played a fixtured match in 2020. They will continue to review this information and members will be informed that their application will be adjusted to a partial reimbursement. *Netball Victoria understand that there are a few members that may not have received the initial reimbursement email. To begin with, members should check their spam or junk mail folders. 04.01.2022 NETBALL UPDATE Wed like to thank our members and families for their patience while we attempt to negotiate our way back to community netball during the current Covid-19 pandemic. We can assure you that our committee members have been meeting regularly since March and have been constantly working on our plan to get you all back onto the courts as soon as possible. We are not only governed by the federal and state government restrictions, we also need to abide by the... guidelines set by Netball Victoria and GRSC. As you can imagine weve had to adjust our plans quite a few times as the situation constantly evolves. With the recent tightening of training and competition restrictions for players aged 19 and over weve had to once again rethink our plans. Further easing of restrictions, including target dates, are expected be considered late July. At this stage we are still hopeful that we will return to play in 2020 in some capacity.
