20.01.2022 Rest in peace, #HelenReddy and thank you for giving the world the greatest feminist anthem: I am woman, hear me roar In numbers too big to ignore And I know too much to go back an' pretend 'Cause I've heard it all before... And I've been down there on the floor No one's ever gonna keep me down again See more

15.01.2022 Please take a look at this man. Look deep into his eyes. This man, Dr Denis Mukwege is a gynecologist who for many years has been operating on women who have be...en raped and sexually tortured in the Democratic Republic of Congo. He works in the City of Joy, a place where survivors go to heal both physically and spiritually. He and his family have been threatened, an attempt was made on his life and still, he has worked tirelessly to repair, stitch together, and heal women. In his own words: 'I identify every woman raped with my wife, every mother, with my own mother and every child, with my own children.' I watched City of Joy on Netflix this past week (a painful but necessary documentary that illuminates what is really going on in the Congo and how the world has ignored the plight of women and children there). He was recently awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his work. He was operating on a woman when the news of his award broke, and the women began to chant and sing in celebration. He finished operating before he came out to learn the news. Please look at this man. There are men like Dr Denis Mukwege in the world. See more

14.01.2022 We won’t quit, giving up is not an option. So many precious women like Hannah and her children need us to be a voice on their behalf, and to build safe homes for them, a place of healing and tranquility where once clipped wings can grow again, and once again they’ll soar! . https://www.abc.net.au//fears-tasmania-set-to-ret/12730294

03.01.2022 A safe home is more than just walls, roofs and security. There’s so much more to this project than bricks and mortar. We have an understanding of the position that people have through no fault of their own found themselves in. This is jus one aspect that we have addressed. https://www.theguardian.com//it-has-marked-me-for-the-rest
