23.01.2022 With competitive games only just returning our bodies will be a little deconditioned to meet the needs of the game. Here are some tips to return safely to avoid injury 1.Reduced the intensity of your training and game play and return to pre-covid training levels gradually. It might take quite a few weeks to get back to your previous strength and fitness levels 2. Take the time to do a good warm up and cool down, include a good stretch or foam roller session.... 3. Stay hydrated even in the cooler weather. 4. Listen to your body - don't push through pain and seek treatment early for any injuries. Children would normally recover quickly so if they keep mentioning pain make sure you get them checked out by a health professional. 5. Have fun!

21.01.2022 Today kicks off the start of Osteopathy Healthcare Week 2020! Did you know that right now, 60% of Australians are currently in pain? Or, that 25% of Australians wait until their pain becomes chronic before seeking professional advice?... And that 37% of Australians accept pain instead of acting on it? Osteopaths are trained to evaluate whole-body health, diagnose and offer a range of clinical assessments, hands-on techniques, education and support tailored to your needs.

19.01.2022 Sounds like a great online event with the fabulous Erin Bailey. Don't forget to follow her page for other upcoming events Erin Bailey - Naturopath & Holistic Nutritionist

13.01.2022 Masks can be very uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time so I have a couple of tips for you. They can really dig in behind your ears so I like to wear a little fabric extender. That way the mask hooks onto the buttons not my ears. To stop glasses fogging up you can buy some antifog lens cleaner wipes that work perfectly.

12.01.2022 Today is the last day of Osteopathy Healthcare Week for 2020. Are you one of the 37% of people that accept pain instead of acting on it? Take that step, make a change to try and achieve better health. Maybe it's time you called your local osteopath for an appointment.

09.01.2022 Many of you have already been in and noticed my new accessory while I work. Following NSW Health advice I will now be wearing a mask while treating, because as you know I can't treat and stay 1.5m away. At this stage I am not asking patient's to wear a mask but feel free to bring your own along if you like. Please remember to cancel your appointment if you have any cold or flu symptoms even if you wear a mask. I do treat many older patients, and even young children and I would hate for them to get sick from visiting.

03.01.2022 Did you know that Osteopaths treat more than just back pain? While I do see many people with neck and low back pain, people also come to see me for hip, knee, foot, shoulder and elbow pain.

01.01.2022 Day 3 of Osteopathy Healthcare Week for 2020 and I thought I would share a little history. Osteopathy was developed in the late 1800's by Andrew Taylor Still, an American Physician. It has been practiced in Australia for over 100 years and became more popular in the 1980's when Osteopaths became registered.... In Australia there is a minimum of 5 years of study to become an Osteopath.
