22.01.2022 This is a very good, and thought-provoking article. And it also highlights yet another way the Australian film industry can rise up and distinguish itself. I really believe we have something unique we can offer the world. That's why the WLFC has been born - to stimulate production for the local film industry, to create a personnel resource base and a good sense of community so we can get our projects done more quickly and easily than before!... "Like" if you can see the vision that we can do it better! Make commercially viable films that still has the art in them, with actors still free to be passionate about making art, and fostering and independent film industry that Australians can get behind, and enjoy watching!
22.01.2022 We held our first WLFC meeting tonight! It went very well! It was an intimate gathering and a productive and informative session. We're looking forward to the good things to come!

20.01.2022 For the visitors to this page, please note that currently it is fairly inactive because most of the activity is on the group page. This is a gateway to the group. However, as things pick up, more information will be posted on this page. So please like and follow us! We have a venue announced for our regular meetings on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month - City Diggers, Wollongong! Entry is $3 a head to cover costs. Our first meeting is coming up in February on the 11th from 7pm (doors open at 6)! We look forward to seeing you there!

Due to the increase of spammers trying (and prior to now, succeeding) to join our group, anyone who does not look like a genuine member is permanently blocked before their request to join the group is even approved.
