We are excited to release the Beta version for you to start exploring. https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/viewer It's being updated once a week and photos will be added down the track. If you'd like to contribute a spot but can't make it to a MapJam, you can fill in this survey: https://docs.google.com/.../1FAIpQLScnaWy316.../formResponse

13.01.2022 Hello all. Given the local state of emergency and to help support efforts to minimise transmissions of COVID-19, we'll be postponing all regular WoMP Tuesday training sessions, for at least two weeks, at which point we'll reassess. We'll be making an online training session for each Tuesday evening, so keep an eye out for that! Parkour itself isn't a high risk activity for transmission of the virus, but we'll like to do our part to encourage physical distancing, and this me...ans limiting travelling in and out of high traffic areas like the CBD. This is a great opportunity for training around your suburb more, and maybe finding new spots and challenges. Consider making some changes to the way you train, like: - Limit hugs, high fives, handshakes, and other physical contact - Always wash hands well with soap and water before and after training - Carry and use a small bottle of hand sanitiser, and/or disinfecting wipes (not as good as handwashing, but still important) - Avoid touching and vaulting on high-traffic obstacles like hand rails. (Every day is leg day ) - Clean your training clothes after every session, and put them in your laundry basket as soon as you get home. - Listen to your body and slow down or stop training if you are experiencing symptoms like a cough or shortness of breath. - Add your suggestions in the comment below.

09.01.2022 #Reposting some wisdom from @alecatparkour - - - - - - Pull-ups, pistol squats, diamond push-ups - they’re all now within reach. Ironic that I’m stronger now that the gyms are closed. I’ve found that the best way to improve has been to do a little bit of everything every day, and to have fun doing it. Throwing some creative challenges in between the slog, and changing the type of slog the moment I get bored. The more fun you have, the longer you stay out, the less excuses you make for not being out, and the more you improve. Video description: A woman doing pull ups on playground equipment
08.01.2022 Now wave at the camera Video description: Two people on the top of wall. One woman runs at the wall and climbs on top of it. Some dork yells at them.
08.01.2022 We'll be jamming tonight at 6:30pm. Let us know if you'd like to join in! To keep safe while under restrictions, we need to control the size of the group we train in, and maintain social distancing at all times, hence the need for RSVPs....
07.01.2022 Throwback to our parkour vs art history challenge. Image description: Two women lie on two separate large boulders, and reach towards each other, in a parody of Michealangelo’s painting ‘The Creation of Adam’
07.01.2022 We love this bridge
06.01.2022 We did not run our regular training last night in solidarity with First Nations people on the Day of Mourning, and stand against any celebration on Invasion Day. Instead, we’ll be running a session on Friday evening, 6:30pm at Victoria Park in Abbotsford. Beginners welcome! Image description: A woman in silhouette against a setting sun, doing a tic-tac off a wall next to the river
06.01.2022 Training tomorrow (Tuesday) night! 6:30PM at the ruins near IMAX. Cardio, palm spins, lines and maybe cats! If you are coming, post below or message this page so we know numbers, esp with current restrictions.
06.01.2022 Nwod edispu Thanks to Eden for taking this pic
06.01.2022 Ale flying over a rail The restrictions here in Melbourne have meant were all training within 5km of home. While were all missing some of the OG parkour spots in Melb, it has meant some amazing discoveries closer to home. Were making the most of that by putting together an updated parkour spots map for Melbourne, focused on smaller local spots, as well as accessibility and safety. Thanks to Ale for leading the charge!
05.01.2022 We're training at distance! We've just started. Send us a message if you'd like to join in All welcome! Training wherever you are!

04.01.2022 The online event of #WamJam2020 have come to an end, and we’ll be uploading them all to our YouTube and www.wamjam.com.au today!! There’s still an amazing session coming up in Perth ‘Every Shape is a Shape’ Check out @womenofperthparkour @perth.parkour for more details. And the Scavenger Hunt will be running until Sunday evening! So still plenty of time to rack up points and win one of the prizes, which include a t-shirt from on the sponsors of WamJam 2021, a WoMP t-shirt o...r a t shirt from a pas WamJam event, and a @melbinmotion T shirt. If you’d like to support WamJam 2020 (and WamJam 2021), we gratefully appreciate all donations. You can donate through www.paypal.me/melbinmotion, or send us a message for more ways to contribute.
04.01.2022 Found an old video of Adélaïde bossing some blindfold training... we miss you!!!
03.01.2022 Ela has made this amazing video of roll variations and drills, shown from several angles, and several progressions for how to use a roll. Learning to roll can be intimidating, and frustrating, we all know that. Sometimes its takes trying out a few different approaches to find the ones that work for you. Have a go at these versions and tell us how it went! Video description: a woman rolls on concrete, from a kneeling position, then repeats the movement from three different angels. She then does the same with more variations of the roll.
03.01.2022 Training tonight! Meet at the big rocks at Birrarung Marr, Tuesday at 6:30pm https://goo.gl/maps/h4h8ogHSrT8AQfYMA
02.01.2022 Heres Ale with a brilliant route including moving through small spaces! Were all training closer to home due to restrictions, so WoMP will be making a hyper-local parkour spots map for Melbourne, and encouraging everyone to contribute with information about the spots in your suburb. Message us if youd like to be involved.

We’re running lots of online sessions until lockdown ends, so keep an eye on our social media or send us a message for more info Video description: three people crawling and moving around scaffolding. 01.01.2022 Hello all! We're working on ways to keep training while we've postponed our regular training for public health reasons. So, introducting WoMP's Quarantraining!! We're setting group goals for tonight, and we'll all work on those goals from our homes or nearby. ... https://docs.google.com//1DOsoTGDew0AbhQjxzJRedhyPz2/edit Comment below if you'd like to join in!
01.01.2022 Heres a simple donkey kick drill from Ela. Its a great way to keep up the strength and wrist mobility you need for movements like a cat pass, and its easy to do even if youre low on motivation.
