12.01.2022 This year, Women with Disabilities Victoria will run a social media campaign to coincide with the annual international ‘16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence’ campaign. The campaign will run from 25th of November, the International Day for Elimination of Violence Against Women, to the 10th December, Human Rights Day. It will span the International Day for People with Disability, which falls on the 3rd of December. In line with Respect Victoria 2020 campaign, Res...pect Women: Call it Out. WDV’s theme focuses on increasing respect towards women with disabilities and aims to inspire action and to encourage members of the public to embrace the types of behaviours and actions that represent and personify ‘respect’. For each day of the campaign WDV will be posting a visual tile on our social media channels each describing what women with disabilities think ‘Respect is.
