18.01.2022 Hello all, this one has been a labour of love. With well over 20+ hours designing, sketching, inking and then painting the Ukiyo Mandala and then editing it down to a 7min video. However I love the finished piece, I love the finished video, I hope you all enjoy it. Happy viewing, and hopefully creating your own mandalas. There will be cards, prints and if you are keen colouring in sheets of this mandala for you to purchase, along with mandalas that I created a few years ago.... Litha is for honouring power of the sun, it's life giving warmth and, the fire within us.... To celebrate: meditate, get out in nature, honour and have gratitude for all things relating to the sun. We also have a very special moment this evening when Saturn and Jupiter will conjunction tonight in the sky for about an hour, around 830 tonight, this is known as the Great Conjunction, it is unknown what they will look like, as they have never been this close together, in our sky which will be 1/10 of a degree. Have an enchanted day, soaking in the life force that is our sun. xoxox So much love and gratitude to you.

The tree is growing for the Ukiyo Floating World Sculpture for SALA Festival on display at Marine Discovery Centre from the 31st of August until the end of October. 04.01.2022 Thanks to all those who came down to the Marine Discovery Centre this afternoon to see the #SALA Ukiyo Floating world exhibition. Special thanks to Gerry, from Butterfly Conservation South Australia, for a chat. It is amazing to collaborate with wonderful organisations and integrate art and learning. Thanks for bringing the caterpillars and the chrysalis down for us to see. Beautiful. COMING SOON butterfly artworks for you to use to brighten yours or someone else space. Also... I will be running some butterfly making sessions in the school holidays. Join the mailing list, like, subscribe etc so you don't miss out on anything. If you missed out, you can contact the centre to set up a viewing time, on display until the 31st of October. This artwork is the culmination of 2 months worth of work, in the forms of YouTube videos, 222 origami butterflies created by the community, recycled fencing wire, 111 leaves made from plastic bags.
