24.01.2022 **LOST KEYS** Have you, or do you know of anyone who has misplaced/lost their keys? They were found along the footpath between Woodleigh and The Pioneer Playground on Friday 8th of January. If you know of anyone or if they are yours, please contact Woodleigh on 85846501. There is a street name on the tag so we would ask you to tell us this before handing them over.

24.01.2022 During the 2020 year, LDCC received funding for training and mentoring for our educators through Innovative Solutions (Gowrie). This project entails trainings over a 9 month period and mentors from Talking Matters observing the educators interactions. They will then work and support staff to update skills regarding the following areas: * Pre Language Skills and early language development * Receptive and expressive language * Play and Interactions (Through an OT and Speech Ap...proach) * Social Skills * Fine and Gross Motor skills * Self Care * AUSLAN * Appropriate use of PECS * Supporting children express emotions * Supporting children with diagnosis eg: ADD, ADHD, ASD, GDD We had our first training with Olivia and Hannah last week and are looking forward to the next 9 months of training and development!
