25.01.2022 Hi Forest Friends we just wanted to advise that we will closed Friday, October 23rd. Whilst we are closed we will be celebrating the life of Taras Ochota. His vision and energy helped create this little piece of paradise in the hills we call The Forest. Please join us in spirit and enjoy a glass of OB, an 'orange wine' or simply send some love to his family and friends both here and across the world.

23.01.2022 A favourite has made a special comeback. The French Tart is back for a limited time. 4 cheeses, caramelised wood oven onion, whipped goat curd, Parmesan crumble and fresh parsley. One of the best vegetarian options you’ll have!

Open from Midday till last booking of 7:30pm 90 minute sittings. 12.00pm, 1:30pm, 3:00pm etc. Maximum 6 people per booking... Super colourful, fresh and original as f%#k. Perfect for this weekends sunny weather.... Only at the Forest from this Friday and all weekend. 17.01.2022 Forest friends another special alert! Darn chefs - you'd think they'd have something else better to do. Well they don't, so pay attention! Each winter we try different variations on the Lamb theme and seeing that it's the start of winter we thought we'd take you back to sunnier times. Presenting the ~ ¿Lamborghita?. Margherita mix marinated lamb, smoked over applewood, confit garlic and chipotle base with feta, spring onions, fresh mint, lime zest and a spritz of Oaxaca mezca...l. It's next level and seriously limited! Expect more experiments before we land on the winter lamb to get us through these few cold months. Oh. Also we have a new tin, the very rare Prancing Pony Serenity of Speed. Like our new pizza its seasoned with a pinch of salt from Lake Gairdner.

12.01.2022 New pizza special alert! After a solid start we thought it best to tell the universe about it. The McSue Me. A big mac inspired masterpiece by Chef Cal. Cream cheese sauce, ground beef, beer reduction onions, secret sauce, pickles, lettuce and sesame seeds. Be quick, it's a special and it is special.

06.01.2022 It’s the 2 year anniversary of a Facebook update we did speaking about all the things that people have stolen from our piece of paradise in the hills. The support from our patrons, neighbours and wider community was amazing. Our biggest loss was our beloved fire pit, of which someone thought it would be better in their yard. Our hills neighbour, Chris from Crafers Garden Centre & Landscape Supplies kindly offered to donate a new pit for us. With our back-up pit put into ret...irement, we decided to hit up Chris. The deadset legend stepped up and loaded up our new baby and it’s currently warming the hands and hearts of everyone on this gorgeous day! Please support Chris and his wonderful business, Crafers Garden Centre. He’s just one of the many amazing people that make the hills community a beautiful place to be!

05.01.2022 Hey forest friends - it's great news that we're heading out of lockdown and getting our lives back. Unfortunately with the short time frame we are unable to provide the experience we'd love to by this Sunday's lunch / dinner service. So we'll will be open once again on Thursday 26th November. In the meantime our chefs are working on some exciting new recipes for this Summer! ... See you up the hill very soon for pizza wine and good times.
