25.01.2022 Glenmaggie Weir.

25.01.2022 I am no longer associated to Cob&Co Stables Market or Mark Watson as a business . I will continue to operate on line .and at local markets.

24.01.2022 Good morning every one .I would like to thank each and every one of you for supporting my page.As an online trader , I am only just starting out on here .I entered Cob&Co in the middle of winter, probably the worst time to set up in retail. I have as most of you would realize only just concluded the Cob &Co Stables Market. I am creative and handy with tools.I operate a seperate businesses to Woodragon, I offer domestic services. That can be viewed at. "Kevin de Valle Exterio...r Detailing", on facebook. It wont be long before I start producing Macram hangers with driftwood and Bansai using parachute cord or dute.I will expand into rustic tables sculpture, also I will market other peoples craft on commission from this page. If I seem a little slow at first , to be quiet honest, I have a lot on my plate .Continued support will give me the incentive I need to develop this page and my craft. Thanks. See more

12.01.2022 I collected a fourth Cococola bottle today. It is a clear glass 26,1/2 FL.OZ bottle from the fifties , I know this as coke used green glass through out the seventies. Recycling during ,prior to the eighties , had been in place for decades. When I was a child, coke carried a 10 cent deposit on the 26 Fl.OZ bottles.1973 marked the end of the imperial system for packaging in Austrailia,& the decimal currency was bought in after 1965 . The one litre bottles carried a 20 cent dep...osit. As a kid I was fond of dragging my red steel wagon through the streets collecting soft drink bottles. At ten I was earning about eight dollars a week. Which bought big boss cigars fags and big Charlie chewing gum. Do you remember taking youre milk bottles back to the milk bar when you topped up, or leaving them at the front door, the milk man would take them and leave you with a fresh supply. The introduction of plastic packages in the eighties marked the end of recycling and the sensless waste that followed. Who remebers the tuckerbag. Paper packages. and a shelf of empty boxes at the front desk . Recycling is necessary yes. Companies such as AC I , ,changed the packaging industry, The introduction of plastic marked thirty years of waist and land fill. It was a step backwards for man and for the planet. These companies that changed our way of life and thinking should be far more accountable for the mess we are in now. The public would have followed through with recycling . Good business and marketing strategies rendered it unfashionable. Of course now we all recycle .I fear even so a great deal of garbage still goes into land fill. See more

11.01.2022 I have a busy a agenda .However I have plenty of material to work with and intend to make up some smaller lower priced ficus Bansai in the coming week. I of course have some larger designs coming up as well. I will make one to place in the center of Cob & Co where the palm is dying in the brick feature at the center of the stables now .I have started hitting the floors with a double hit of CT18 truck wash & Sodium Hypochloride. The bricks I have hit so far look like new .A big effort next thursday should get most of the center area done. .

06.01.2022 The Spiders HousePerched upon the dusty track, there stood for years a tumbled shack. It houses rodents snakes and spider, but they dont take up much space inside her.The roof leaks, the walls creak; the floors are rotten and dangerously weak.Oh! the stories this house could tell, if it could speak. The couple that built it, on their spare time, each nail by flash light, the couple did fine. When it was built, the young man with pride kicked open the door carrying his bride in...side.They loved each over for many years; the house saw their children, their laughter, and their tears.Of course children grow up and flea the nest. This house was their home it gave them their best.Returning with grand children, they stand at the gate. The once young man, now old man who worked so many nights late.Embraces his wife, and touches her cheek says Ive loved this house, theres nothing I seek Ive always been happy here week after week. This house thats perched on the side of this track was once a loved home where the grand kids came back.
