23.01.2022 Update: We have watched more security footage and discovered they have been at our property both early Saturday morning and early Sunday morning. I would assume they sussed the property out sat morning and stole the saws on the Sunday morning. Early Saturday morning (22nd Aug) our depot located on the highway in Heywood was robbed. The thieves ransacked our vehicles that were parked in our backyard and have stolen numerous chainsaws. If anyone happened to see any movement a...t our depot it would be appreciated if you would come forward to police. Otherwise if anyone hears of used chainsaws being sold please let us or police know. * Pic for attention only * See more

10.01.2022 Today marks the end of our two week voluntary closure, Woodrowe Tree Technicians will be open for business again tomorrow (Monday 10th August). We have made a few changes during our closure. Our office staff will be working from home and our office will be closed to the public. Our phone is diverted to office staff so if you need to contact us please call us on (03) 5527 2188 as normal or email us at [email protected] I am pleased to report that none of our other employ...ees returned a positive COVID-19 test result. Of the two who tested positive prior to our business closure, one has come through the virus and been released from home isolation by the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) which is great news. As most are probably aware our other employee was not so lucky and he lost his life to this horrible virus. To say we were all shocked and upset at the news of his passing is an understatement. I don’t think any of us had considered that either of our employees wouldn’t win the fight against COVID-19. Our thoughts, love and prayers go out to his family Please everyone take this virus seriously, wear a mask, wash your hands and stay home as much as possible, where not possible maintain social distancing.

04.01.2022 TEMPORARY BUSINESS CLOSURE It is with regret that I wish to advise that as of late last night, we have two confirmed COVID-19 cases within our company. These employees have been in isolation since they were advised they were a close contact of another confirmed case within our community. Although we have taken all precautions possible to prevent the spread of COVID-19 throughout our company, we feel it is in everyone’s best interests if we voluntarily close down for a fortni...ght. Please note we are not required to do this. We have been in contact with the Department of Human and Health Services (DHHS) throughout this process and have followed their directions at all times. It is off our own back that we have decided to close our doors temporarily. Please do not panic and assume that you are at any risk of contracting COVID-19 from our company. Any individual who is considered a close contact of these positive cases has been contacted directly by DHHS. In closing our doors for a fortnight and ceasing all work, all of our employees will be able to undertake a precautionary COVID-19 test and spend the allocated isolation time waiting for the result before we return to work as normal. We are hopeful that no more of our employees will have contracted this scary virus. Our thoughts and prayers are with our affected employees and their families. We wish them a speedy recovery Please be mindful with any comments you may post. We have posted this to be upfront with the community and hope that we receive your support.
