20.01.2022 Little did we realise that when we returned home because of COVID there would be a letter there waiting for us that would change our plans . The letter was from NSW Water informing us that some of our land is to be acquired for the Wyangala Dam Raising Project.Because Melinda Pavey (Minister for water) has had the project earmarked as a critical infrastructure project things are set to move along quickly.We have had the first of many onsite meetings with them and have decided to stay put until the inundation model is released. Until then there’s lots for us to do out here to keep ourselves busy ........

19.01.2022 Dave and some mates had a great time last week even though it rained for the first couple of days .Terry had to rescue Karenne Wayne Connors and our boat from drifting away in the early hours A nice cod was caught by Mick.

Well we won’t be setting off again just yetI will explain this more in the weeks to come In the meantime we have been keeping ourselves busy and enjoying family time . We have been cutting splitting gardening schooling shopping cooking talking laughing planning walking and enjoying the simple things in life We would like to thank our amazing friends and neighbours for just contacting us for a chat when needed or bringing us whatever we haven’t been able to source ourselves and news of the outside world over some drinks or a cuppa when they have been able to visit us.
