The young trainees seem to try and put on a happy face. The others are simply inhospitable. As for Elton the so called manager. Management should either invest in some hospitality training or get rid of him. Regulars are able to be intoxicated without a problem but others are quickly cut off or evicted. Hygiene is terrible. Jugs fall onto the floor and are picked up and used without so much as a rinse. The atmosphere amongst customers is great. See more

04.01.2022 Monica Atlas 2 reviews 3 weeks ago 4 of us visited the Woodvale Tavern for the 2nd time, the food did not fail us, we enjoyed an "inelegant sufficiency" will certainly go again when we can afford it, being Pensioners this is a treat when our pocket allows!!!
03.01.2022 Andrew Vagg 10 reviews a week ago great atmosphere and decent selection of tap beer but the food is very expensive considering the quality. $24 for a pizza with half a dozen paper thin slices of cheap salami is just not ok and the "carbonara" sauce, which was more likely an attempt at white wine and cream sauce, had the consistency of water.
01.01.2022 Marrianne Cryer Marrianne Cryer 1 review a month ago I really like this place for the fun to be had there, but, need to keep well away from the doorways because of the way they allow smoking in the doorways. It plays havoc with my CPD. I thought it was now illegal, but, apparently not. Would be lovely if they switched their smoking and non-smoking areas.... Staff are OK and drink variety is huge.
