19.01.2022 The Woollahra Philharmonic Orchestra congratulates Dr Joanna Drimatis on her outstanding achievement as the recipient of the NSW State Luminary Award for her sustained contribution to the performance, programming and advocacy of Australian works and string music education. The WPO has been very privileged to work with Dr Drimatis on several occasions and we are so thrilled to see this award presented to someone so deserving. Well done and congratulations Joanna!!!

09.01.2022 With all the recent restrictions due to the Covid 19 safetly guidlines, we have been limited with what we can work on.. and it's changed so many times as each new recommendation comes forward, but with that said, the WPO (reconfigured to the Woollahra Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra) is delighted to share with you this little offering we just made. I hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed playing it. Even the fire brigade next door joined in with us!

These parties will feature laureates of The Sydney, Tony Lee - performing the second movement of Beethoven's 4th piano concerto, Quang Hong Luu with Bach's f minor keyboard concerto, and Edward Neeman who will perform Saint-Saens' Wedding Cake Caprice for piano and strings.
