16.01.2022 We are pleased to report a strong lithium-beryllium anomaly at Woomeras Lake Dundas tenement. Historic sampling highlighted Lake Dundas as having one of the highest lithium concentrations (93-149ppm) in Australia. The presence of such a pronounced lithium and beryllium anomaly in the north-eastern portion of the tenement suggests that hard-rock lithium-pegmatites might be present on the edge and potentially under the lake.... Lithium continues to be a hot commodity within the clean energy movement as the world is scrambling to utilise energy and energy storage technologies that will increasingly demand more and more lithium. 13.01.2022 Woomera Mining Limited (ASX: WML, Woomera) is pleased to announce that the Company has been granted two new tenements, Binneringie located in the SE Yilgarn, and Mt Cattlin located near Ravensthorpe. The prospectivity of the ground for hard-rock lithium deposits was identified during a recent reconnaissance field program conducted on the Companys Cowan and Ravensthorpe tenements. That reconnaissance, coupled with the knowledge that the ground was available for mining, led to... the applications being made for the two new tenements. The two new tenements add to the Companys existing ten tenements in Western Australia considered by WML to be prospective for hard-rock lithium and lithium brines. 06.01.2022 Woomera Mining (ASX: WML) this morning announced that the Company has executed a Native Title Mining Agreement (NTMA) to progress exploration activities in the Musgrave Province. Full details of the announcement are available here: https://bit.ly/2uhBQcT Now that the NTMA has been signed, Woomera will undertake Stage 1 of the planned exploration program which will include electromagnetic surveys over seven anomalous zones followed by 3,850m of RC drilling.... Joint venture partner OZ Minerals will solely fund this exploration which validates Woomeras VRMI technology to accurately identify anomalies for drilling. "Application of the VRMI technique, which is traditionally used in iron ore and gold exploration, should enable rapid exploration of the region. If successful, it will provide another layer on which we can target prospective geology under cover," said OZ Minerals Head of Exploration, Richard Holmes on January 29. After the Stage 1 program, OZ Minerals can elect to earn 51% equity in the project by achieving a total spend of $2.5 million in exploration activity within 18 months. An additional $5.0 million for further exploration and drilling will secure a total 75% equity in the project within the following two years. Whilst the world is scrambling to utilise energy and energy storage technologies that will increasingly demand more and more lithium, cobalt, nickel and copper, Woomera Mining have a very clear and proven business model: find the ore, add value and monetise so we look forward to bringing you results as we progress. 05.01.2022 Woomera Mining Limited (ASX: WML) is pleased to report that the Cultural Heritage Survey has been completed at our Musgrave Project, which will enable Woomera Mining and OZ Minerals commence our Copper-Nickel-Cobalt joint venture exploration. As an indispensable raw material to build lithium-ion batteries, rising demand for cobalt over the past two years has been very significant and highlights the Woomera strategy to find ore, add value and monetise. This rising demand has s...een the price of cobalt quadruple in two years to around USD $85,000 per tonne and is one of the key target metals at Musgrave. The immediate exploration program has been designed to test six areas that have been identified from aeromagnetic and drill hole geochemical data. A ground-based, Moving Loop Electromagnetic (MLEM) survey covering all six target areas, is planned to commence in Q3, 2018 We anticipate that the conductivity models generated from the MLEM survey will provide improved accuracy for the design of the drilling program which is planned to commence immediately following the MLEM survey.
