23.01.2022 One of the best things about freelancing is all the other freelancers you come across, and I have been fortunate to get to know some very talented people. There are lots of projects that need the skills of more than one person - say a web writer plus graphic designer, or feature writer plus photographer - so I've set up a new page on my website called The Freelance Network to promote some of my contacts. If you or your business needs something written, designed, photographed,... rebranded, advertised or generally jooshed up, there's a good chance one or more of these people can help (and you'll be making a freelancer very happy!) http://wordsmithing.com.au/the-freelance-network

21.01.2022 Need a space to work? Flexible, dedicated desks and private offices for you and your team. Schedule a tour of our first ever location in Melbourne - WeWork Bourke Street.

18.01.2022 Another newsletter for the Furniture History Society. I always learn something fascinating when I work on these publications. For example, did you know that Melbourne furniture makers Geo. Thwaites & Son made the furniture for Victorian Governor Charles Hotham, and that the mansion rented for Hotham ('Toorak') is now the Swedish Church (home of the famous annual Christmas market)? I've also added a couple more house museums to my 'must visit' list - this time in Tasmania. You'll have to join the FHS if you want to find out more - or they might sell you a copy! Just don't mention Ikea. http://www.furniturehistory.org.au/

13.01.2022 I've loved collaborating with the very talented Christine Weber, developing copy for her pet photography website. It was important that the words captured Christine's voice and how she feels about her work. I think we did a good job, but to be honest her photographs speak for themselves. http://www.professionalpetphotography.com.au

01.01.2022 Another inspiring collaboration, this time with artist Ann Ryan. The brief - a simple website that reflects Ann's work and style. http://www.annryan.com.au/
