22.01.2022 DUSTY CATTLE DOG - FAMILY COMPANION SKILLS ADVANCED Dusty had sadly been attacked multiple times by other dogs and (understandably) was worried that this could happen again. He needed to learn that he could enjoy walks without needing to become stressed and display reactivity. Dusty has had some basic obedience training but is starting to work on more advanced concepts as well as learning calm controlled leash walking.

22.01.2022 OLLIE BOARD & TRAIN We’ve enjoyed working with Ollie and teaching him foundation obedience skills, building his confidence and working on his impulse control. He is highly motivated and we had a lot of fun with him!

20.01.2022 REX BOXER BOARD AND TRAIN Rex is a well loved family dog who came to stay with us as he was starting to getting over aroused/reactive when he saw other dogs on his walks - lunging and barking. Our goals were to implement a good solid foundation of obedience, build engagement, an effective communication system and work on impulse control (especially around distractions and other dogs). Rex has been a star pupil and we are pleased with his progress. His family can now have enjoyable walks as well as fun continuing his obedience and engagement work.

18.01.2022 BEAU BOARD & TRAIN A friendly dog with people, Beau didnt always feel the same way about other dogs and displayed reactive behaviour towards them lunging on his lead and generally being unruly on his walks. Beau is super intelligent and keen to work and learn. We worked on his engagement and building an effective communication system so that he clearly understood what was required of him. Beau struggled with impulse control at a fundamental level and this became a p...rimary goal. Beau made great progress during his time with us and he is now able to enjoy walks with other dogs and listens to his handler for instruction. We really enjoyed our time with Beau. He returned home on the weekend and we feel confident that his family will build on the foundation we have put in place. See more

17.01.2022 LULU FRENCH BULL DOG BOARD & TRAIN Lulu is a great dog with an awesome character and personality. As a tiny sick 6 week old pup Lulu was rescued by her family who did everything they could to care for this pup and raise her to be the awesome dog she is today. Social and fearless, Lulus only issue was she struggled with impulse control and suffered extreme separation anxiety. When not with her loved ones she would scream endlessly. Lulu came to stay with us for a couple of weeks so we could help work on her impulses and teach her to settle in a crate and be comfortable with being on her own.

10.01.2022 PHOENIX (LABRADOODLE) 3 YEARS & ROSCO (SPOODLE) 7 MONTHS BOARD & TRAIN Foundation obedience is all about building effective communication with your dog, increasing engagement with the handler, teaching your dog to control its emotions in all situations including calm loose walking, general impulse control and having fun! We really enjoyed working with both these dogs!

09.01.2022 FRANKIE AUSSIE BULLDOG BOARD & TRAIN This lovely girl is a real sweetheart but tended to get worried by things, couldnt control her emotions and displayed fear aggression (especially to other dogs). Her family loved her dearly and wanted to see if they could help Frankie feel better about the world without resorting to medication. We worked together with Frankie building a good strong base in obedience, teaching her how to control her impulses and building her overall confidence. Frankie is now much more confident and able to enjoy walks, and life in general.

08.01.2022 KING ROTTWEILER BOARD AND TRAIN This gentle giant was pulling on the lead, lunging at cars, had started to fixate on other dogs on his walks and at 10 months old and 50 kgs you were hard pressed to stop him. His owner recognised the importance of ensuring that this large pup had a good foundation in obedience, especially around impulse control and wanted to be have effective control and enjoy his walks with his dog. During his time with us we were able to start the foundation work and by following our program his owner will ensure that this pup develops into an obedient dog.

06.01.2022 Introducing CHASE a Irish Wolfhound x Bull Mastiff who is with us for a board and train. Chase didnt have the best start in life and but was lucky enough to be rescued by a lovely couple who are committed to helping Chase have a better life. We have been putting in place foundation obedience, working on recall and engagement as well as helping Chase feel more confident with other dogs. We have been pleased with his progress and with our training program his human parents will be able to continue to work with Chase when he returns home.

03.01.2022 Frank and Flo’s owners wanted to move in together but the two dogs didn’t always get on so they asked for our help. We started by giving both dogs a good basis of learning, teaching the dogs to listen to us and follow our guidance. As the training progressed we worked through their issues and reached a stage where the dogs could be off lead together. Frank and Flo’s owners are super dedicated and have continued the training as well as following our management suggestions and are now happily co-habiting.

03.01.2022 BAILEY STAFFY BOARD AND TRAIN Bailey is an awesome dog! He loves people (especially his owners) but easily switched into high arousal (leading to reactivity) when he heard other dogs; this arousal became extreme when he saw another dog and it wasnt possible for Baileys family to enjoy walks or outings with him. Bailey needed a solid foundation in obedience and a lot of work on controlling his impulses! We are very proud of how far Bailey has come! He has made good progress towards change and he has great owners who are committed to giving him the best life possible and will continue the work.

02.01.2022 CHASE completed his board and train and returned home. He has taken some great steps forward with his obedience, built good handler engagement, a strong recall and has learnt an understanding of impulse control. His owners are committed to his ongoing training program and he will no doubt continue to progress with their guidance .Chase
