14.01.2022 Today I visited the Millers Point Night Farmer Markets ran by the community for the community! Loved the sun, chilled french beer, kids playing happily, fresh produce, vegan greek food, community mural, live music and community spirit!!! Love my work!

11.01.2022 Thanks to everyone who attended Cormac 's Rekindling Democracy discussion and book launch hosted by Soulgen and Sydney ABCD FAM! It was a great experience coming together and sharing from an honest and vulnerable space and finding hope. Thanks to Cormac for gifting us generously perls of wisdom, inspiring stories, lived experience and engaging us in such an interesting and important conversation!... Special thanks to Dean Quirke and Catarina Fraga Matos for helping with the hosting. I always forget to take a screenshot :) We will be sending a survey out next week to those who attended and giving away some copies of Cormac's book that can guide our work and role in our neighborhoods, communities and the world...

09.01.2022 Soulgen has partnered with the Miller Point Farmer Night Markets to apply for the CBD Activation Matching grant to curate a series of youth-led creative events and performances! Fingers crossed we can get the grant to embark on this important and fun initiative!!! In the meantime, creatives hit me up if you are keen to do some busking at the markets on a Monday night to support local farmers/stalls and raise some funds for community initiatives...

09.01.2022 I have been super busy and productive lately with Soulgen: - finishing a report for a 3 month youth consultation & codesign with Rozelle Neighbourhood Centre Inc - codesigning a workshop with Beatriz Carrillo on widening participation for unrepresented groups of young people at university - planning 5 trainings on collective impact using ABCD in Woollomolloo... - codesigning a youth-led intergenerational exhibition in partnership with Youth for Youth at Cumberland City Council Never been more busy, productive and excited before. The theme of the exhibition aligns with Cumberland Council's Youth Strategy and consultation findings and is about promoting multiculturalality and diversity as an asset and changing the story (and narratives) of disadvantaged. This aligns with the asset based community driven approach Im passionate about and my experience working with young people and diverse communities in Australia and other co...untries.
