11.01.2022 Today the Women of Worth foundation charity shop which is across from Enfield Centrelink offered $1.00 barista coffees to the hundreds standing in line, they also gave away free wrapped lollies. Some had been standing for over 4 hours as they were only letting 10 in at a time. Kindness is what matters more than anything right now. #wowopshopenfield. If you have a spare moment pass by any centrelink site and offer what you can share a smile offer a bottle of water or anything you can to those standing outside. If you can't do it yourself drop your treats to us and we will gladly hand them out as they are just across the road.
10.01.2022 On again tomorrow and Thursday. 10 am until 2. Everything must go. Clothes $1.00, name your price on other stock. Shop display items such as clothes racks, mannequin as priced.
09.01.2022 They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them.
03.01.2022 We at the foundation have made a decision to close . We will reopen when it is safe to do so. Our opshop is our life line of keeping our services going including paying our rent and outgoings. We have decided the welfare of our wonderful volunteers is at this time more important than worrying about our daily costs. We will be back and we pray that you all will be back to support us. As we do not employ staff on a regular bases we will get no support from the Government! To all of you we ask that you remember #selfisolationlove this all will pass one day and things will get back to normal maybe a different normal. Spread kindness it is needed more than ever. Love the WOW Team.
