17.01.2022 Last night HQ Brigade had numerous training activities going with many members involved. DC Christian and 9 others went and spent a glorious evening on pittwater, conducting familiarisation on Elvina Boat (thanks to the West Pittwater crew for giving their time). At the station, Instructors ran through a familiarisation on the SWR (Safe working on Roofs) systems for our SWR members and those not SWR qualified so they understand the systems we use.... Also at station and outside, Trainers conducted BF training with our cohort of new members, and focused their evening on RFS Radios. As we start training to be ready for the coming Fire Season, it's a great time to consider your family and home's level of readiness in case of a bushfire. Making a Bushfire Survival Plan only takes a few minutes and could help save your life when the time comes. #NSWRFS #NorthernBeaches
