To minimise your filtration hours and chlorine output as chlorine demand is quite low right now with cold water, cold weather, and low UV rays with shorter days. We Winterise to stop the onset of any stubborn algae forming during the colder months, such as Blackspot or worse. If you decide not to Winterise, PLEASE do not turn off your Pool System for Winter.
